The original sketch I created of my first homebred Champion “Hanna” and the foundation of the Chinarose Chows . She gave us so much in both the ring and whelping box and we are still seeing her “stamp” on great great grandkids today. . Recently I decided I needed to make a print of the original graphite drawing as it was becoming yellowed even in a quality frame. I photographed the drawing then digitally adjusted the paper color back to white.

The title, SOUL SISTER,is what I called Hanna. We were so in tune with one another that many times when I was working on art in the studio I could feel someone was looking at me. I would turn around and there was Hanna with her paw in the air staring at me. She was one of a kind and a heart dog I will never ever forget.
