Jello explosion!! 6 pendants start to take shape. Join me at Facebook

I am so excited about these little jello squares!!! The white is beautifully opaque and the color chips and completely transparent. Seen in the windowsill before firing they are truly like candy. Absolutely mouth watering. If you have not seen the previoius posts about the progression of this series of pendants…scroll down for more posts.  PLEASE send me pix if you make that jello recipe too!!

Once they take another trip or two in the kiln at a slightly lower temperature, the sides will then be “firepolished” instead of the dull finish you see here.

I see these becoming a very tactile piece of jewelry where the wearer will be constantly holding the pendant up to the light to show off the jello windows. For this reason I will be including a 20″ black cord to make it easy to lift the pendant to the light

Meg thought for sure I had brought her a special treat when I took the bowl full of pendants out into the natural light to photograph them!

The pendants are in the kiln again as I write.  Tomorrow I will update on the progress!!
