Puppy breath, sticky noodles, deep fried bugs and smiles

Fishermans Village outside of Bangkok Thailand

What do all these things have in common……….yep they are in Thailand and I am going back for more in just over a week!!!!! Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine going to Thailand twice in one year .  The “land of smiles” is truly like a magnet.  Once you have been there it is hard to stay away.

Fishermans Village outside of Bangkok Thailand

This trip has a serious mission!!! My daughter Liz and I are going to visit Ekarat (remember the litter of Vincent puppies he has) and bring back one of the little girlies to  the states!!  I’m so excited I can hardly stand it!!! Diana and I are on pins and needles anticipating a little “Mini Vinnie Money” girl here in our arms.  I’m still not sure which one is coming home with us but will know soon enough!!

Ek has our 10 day trip planned with so many exciting activities!! OMG I haven’t had to do a thing except plan for a day and a half with our previous private tour company TOUR WITH TONG.  At the moment we are contemplating going back to the rustic Fishermans Village on the ocean (new photos above) and a trip into Bangkok doing some temple hopping and maybe some shopping in Chinatown.  Bangkok has the largest Chinatown in the world outside of China of course.   I was hoping to get some Mandarin script done of our Project Panda adoption tribe cub names while I’m there.

FLOATING MARKET, BANGKOK 08

Of course a half day at the Floating Market is a must!!!  I might even have to buy one of these hats below….I really miss the one I purchased in Vietnam that I had to leave behind.  This one folds down!!

After the first couple of days at a stunning resort outside of Bangkok, Ek is whisking us off to Phuket!!!!!! OMG we are so excited.  Phuket is the area that was completely devistated by the Tsunami on Xmas day.  It is now built back up and as beautiful as ever.  It sounds like Ek found us a room we are going to want to live in forever..lol!  You will see as the trip progresses via my iPhone cam pix how gorgeous this place is.  All I have seen is photos myself so it will be new to all of us together!……….it is somewhere I have always wanted to visit!!! Liz is completely stoked too!!   THANK YOU EK for doing all this  work ahead of time for us!!!!  I know how much time this research etc takes!!!

More about our trip  coming soon!!  Be sure to sign up for my travelblogue updates in the upper left column at https://graffitigossip.com to make certain you get my iPhone blog updates as they happen from the locations we visit around Thailand!! It’s going to be a blast !!!!!

WOW Sandra…this trip is leaving me breathless!! And you are getting to go so soon! You are very lucky! I’d love to carry your bags (LOL!). Who is getting to keep the new bundle of joy…you or your daughter? The last puppy pictures from the UK were soooo cute…I wanted to hug those little guys! (& I’m a cat person!). Have an amazing trip…safe journeys always! Looking forward to all your incredible pictures!  Lois
