A few favorite Tai Shan pix and my Geomap of the trip

Hello everyone!! We are back home now and reasonably rested.  What a fun time we had on this trip.  Kind of did a little bit of everything it seems!!   I couldn’t wait to  get my panda pix loaded here are a few of the over 1000 I took at the zoo!! I will put them all in an album for you to see together soon

Tai Shan's 3rd Birthday party in DC, July 2008

Steve bought me a GPS for my camera so we are now able to Geotag all my images which go directly onto a Google map which you can ACCESS HERE .  It’s a lot of fun to track where we were at any given time of the day.

I didn’t comment as you went but loved all the photos and notes. The panda photos are stunning, and your photo, too! My pendant package was such a joy–I felt like a kid with a wonderful birthday gift. Thank you for all the effort you put into your creations!

Loved seeing the photos of Tai Shan….as Lois said “these are absolutely incredible pictures”. I particularly liked the next to last one where he’s looking directly toward the camera & looks like he just wants to give you a hug. You look sooooooo beautiful in the photo where you’re giving your Chengdu presentation.

Hey Kathe, Diana, Cathy, Linda, Marius and Pat!!  Thanks sooooooooooo much for the comments!!!!  I really was in my element….I could have talked all day about pandas and had a willing audience but had to keep it under control so we could all go into the panda house after hours…it was such a blast!!

Diana, do you recognize the panda scarf from Chengdu??  When I got it all ironed it really was pretty and draped so nice.  It is my favorite thing I got on the trip I think!!

Marius my friend…. I will email you with the  name of the GPS I got.  It eats AAA batteries like there were no tomorrow but is worth it.  I just need to get recharagable batteries for it now that I know
