My name is Sandra Miller, and art is at the heart of everything I do. I create from my studio in beautiful Portland, Oregon, where life is shared with my husband Steve and our charming “Dog in the Kitchen,” Ihana—my constant muse and taste-tester behind the scenes of this creative journey.
Through my artwork and the Dog in the Kitchen project, I love blending creativity, storytelling, and a touch of everyday magic.

Hey Kathe, Janette and Lois!!! Thanks a bunch for your sweet comments!!! I am having a blast working on the albums and the stories that go with each event. We did so much it is taking a lot of time to just absorb it all myself before I can put it into words. I’ll get more of those ellie pix done soon Kathe. They were very special for sure. Have a great weekend all……Sandra

Such a Doll!!!! I have followed you and Diana through your trip from the very beginning, from my bed, with the flu!!!! I tell ya, Girls, this trip lifted me and saved me through this horrible flu …..dont know what i would have done without the wonderful pics and fabulous narrations of all your adventures. it was….and IS…..Fantastic! The Book, the meeting of the baby, the elephant wash, the story of the blind elephant with her guide/best friend……..the times you spent with local people, learning their lifestyle, the grassroots parts of the trip inspired me so much. Now I cant wait to follow the new “gossip” and all the pics I havent seen…..this is so much fun. Thanks for sharing a wonderful part of your lives ……..it really gives me much happiness and joy to be able to see all these wonderful adventures. love, kathe
