Hello everyone!!!,
We are home safe and sound and I’m still trying to kick that darned bug I caught in SA. It takes time I guess but as Bernice and Franck can attest to…..I make a lousy patient. I would rather be up and sick than “down” and sick…..just too much to do and see !
I have a head full of jewelry ideas and literallly filled a notebook with them on the plane ride home. I should post some of the sketches to show you all for kicks. It will be fun to compare my ideas with what they actually turn out to be in the end product.
Boy did I ever bring home some gorgeous jewelry and beads too!!! You should see the stunning pendant Bernice and Franck got for me at the Gemologists’ shop…that place is a story unto itself…too bad I couldn’t get pix of that place!
This week I’ve set aside to photograph everything we purchased so you will see all the goodies soon. Last nite I couldn’t sleep so I got my layout done for the albums and am excited to start adding photographs to them.
Here is the Homepage and Introduction/itinerary page for you to see.

As I post each album they will be able to be linked to from every page in the album. Stop in and take a peek and please let me know if you have any trouble getting the pages to load .
I posted a few fun pix here from the breeding facilities of Steve and I getting “close” to nature. Hover over the pix for titles.
Hi Sandra..

Can’t wait to see! Hope you’re feeling better 🙂

Laurie…thanks for keeping in touch during our trip to Africa. I really love having the interaction with my friends/customers while we are on our journeys. It really helps spark inspiration and my muses!!!!
I will get some of my sketches scanned this week and show you all what I’ve been brainstorming. I have so much in my head right now I don’t know where to begin!!!
Welcome HOME!! I hope that you are feeling much better very soon….just can’t wait to see your photos…I have enjoyed your trip so far 🙂
You must be absolutely abuzz with energy for making jewelry, creating more beautiful objects which capture the incredible colors from your trip…Mother nature is the best artist of all!
So glad that you are home safe and sound…

Hey Girlfriend!!!
Glad you’re home—-I must have had sympathy sickness-I was sick as a dog last Friday! And I actually stayed home from work that day. Tried to call, but your memory is full-couldn’t even leave a message. Give me a call—got some things to run by you. Glad you had fun—I had some trouble a few days getting to your link—would have written more of these. I’m so-o-o-o-o-o-o jealous of you playing with the big cats—they are right up my alley.
Hugs
Diana
Hey, so glad that you are back, and I bet a little rest will cure you. Those cats are incredible, and what a dream to see them close up and to give them a hug. Can’t wait to see more pics. I know your creative juices are enhanced by the beautiful native objects. Talk to you soon. LOVE , NM
