I am a gypsy at heart who adores being on the move and traveling as much as I love my on bed at home. Travel can be challenging for me as I am legally blind, but with the help of my husband Steve and my friends who accompany me on our journeys, I can experience all that this beautiful world has to offer
I am a professional photographer and do turn heads on our travels when I carry my white “identity cane” and a huge SLR camera with the big guns for lenses. It certainly starts a lot of great conversations and friendships.
My stuffed panda Bling Bling goes everywhere with me and you will see her in many of my travel pix getting into trouble from Chengdu to Capetown.

We absolutely love the Oregon Coast and every chance we get we head an hour from home to the coast…rain or shine.
Today was one of the most beautiful days ever. Not a breath of a breeze to be found , very few people at the beach on a Monday and around 70 degrees and sunny!!

There is audio with this video. This incredible place is nicknamed Elephant Heaven for a good reason. Abused and neglected, and ENDANGERED Asian Elepnants are rescued and rehabilitated by founder Lek and her staff. A MUST DO if you are ever in Thailand

A stunning place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. About an hour outside of the city (as the crow flies)
My daughter Liz and I stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved wandering the grounds. There were elephants on the property , orchids, a lake..pagodas…a real paradise. To top it off we were pretty much alone on 70 acres as it was not tourist season.
I took this short video the morning after we arrived in the dark. We stepped onto the balcony…SPEECHLESS.

I was so tickled..Steve called me about 2:30 PM today and said…we are going for a walk downtown. Woo Hoo!! Playing hookie in this city in the summertime is one of lifes little pleasures!!
I had a sore foot from the weekend incident of dropping a heavy object on my footie…so Steve dropped me of at the fountain with my camera at the waterfront while he went for his walk down both sides of the river and over 2 bridges.
I had a super time just sitting and shooting and enjoying the day. The dogs and kids in the fountain are always the highlight
