Beautiful! I have somehting like this in my garden too, but find rhodies hard to shoot. You've done great work with this flower! Excellent Flowers&Colors Seen in *Flowers&Colors* group.

THANK YOU...now I dont' feel so silly that this image was the result of dozens of tries over a few days. I totally agree that Rhodies are very hard to capture. The 6 pm sun super low in the sky seemed to do the trick in this case. The same low sun in the morning just washed out all detail.
