RING SAW

This is my ring saw. I am working currently on a piece for the Virtual Trunk Show and am roughing in the shape for the pendant.

This particular piece of glass took 5 firings to get to this stage full of yummy patterning and electric dichroics…each firing taking almost a day to complete…. DONT SCREW IT UP NOW!!! LOL!

Each time the glass is refired it takes on some interesting new color morphing due to chemical reactions in the layers of glass…. which may or may not be a good thing…fusing is one artform where you need to keep an open mind.

A single firing is predictable..5 firings is throwing caution to the wind.
