Oh Steve thank you so much for your comments. Coming from you they mean the world to me. I sit far too long under my tree waiting for these birds to cooperate (as you know only too well with your exquisite shots), but boy it's worth it when the one shot comes along that is really cool. I'm studying my manual and just taking photos and experimenting every day. Also using the custom WB like you suggested for most shots which makes a huge difference . I wish my bad eyes could see the controls and screens better on the camera but I take what I can get...lol! Counting my blessings!!
