CHICKADEE'S SONG...a chestnut backed chickadee

ESPECIALLY PRETTY ON BLACK..SEE HERE

Some lovely camoflague. I had never noticed this species of chickadee until this year, never having bird feeders because of all the cats and dogs in the area.

Now I have 15 seed laden suet cakes out an a couple of feeders and the songbirds are flocking in by the hundreds! I’m so excited to get my 100-400mm zoom next month!!

This was taken with my 100mm canon macro.

Lovely bird. I need to look at this large to make it out, though. The colorful background is too much for my eyes. -- Seen next to a fellow photo of Blind Photographers. (?)

I agree...that is the color that came right off the camera too! It's like a "Where's Waldo" sketch..LOL!

This is a wonderful shot, never heard of this type of chickadee, course it's most likely native to your location.
