African grey.... soooo smart, I can't believe he's a bird... has a great vocabulary and talks to me... trying to teach him to call me "momma".. LOL!! Good for you. I did the same some years ago. My Beta even jumped to get the freeze dried lunch from my hand. He was so much fun. I hate the way they keep them in these tiny little things, grr. Thank goodness for people like you!!!!

I raised English Budgies for a long time with my mom. Really miss them but hubby is allergic to feather dust . Mango is on his way today...I'm getting nervous about all the delays yesterday at the airport but hopefully he will arrive alive!! Cross your fins!
