It's neat to them half done, I have often wondered what the process is!

Thanks you guys! I'm not sure if you have seen these pix of my studio Jill but this shows a bit more or the process. www.flickr.com/photos/graffitijewelry/sets/72157594511320... HFF..the blue one for example is a 7th firing on that piece. They go through the kiln so many times with very little change /additons between each. I'ts kind of like watercolor painting. When certain colors touch each other on such a small scale they can "react" and turn muddy or have a happy reaction and make magic. I take notes by the book full on each color reaction and then try to use them again to their advantage...and avoid the "mud" making colors. SO many times a piece like this blue one will go in for a final firing with just one more color added and it will come out ruined.....after 2 weeks or more of time put into it. For example: If I were to use Bullseye "vanilla" on this piece now for little light colored accents...fine frit would destroy the piece while 3 coarse sized chunks placed far apart from one another would make the magic. Bullseye vanilla and turquoise have a definate "reaction"

I so love your expertise in fusing Sandra... You do work magic in that kiln of yours... I need to play more and experiment... Thanks for sharing your processes.!!
