LOL..very carefully!!! It's taken a lot of trips to convince me to pare down and this is actually a lot of stuff I'm taking compared to most trips. Mostly because we will be going from 100 degrees and humid to snow in the same trip. A good friend who traveled for a living gave me great advice. She said that no one will ever remember you wearing the same thing twice..and leave the ball gown and heels at home....no one is going to ask you to the prom while you travel..lol I wear lots of black ( I only need black shoes)...take or buy scarves and pendants at my destination to dress things up and enough good shoes to change off with to keep my feet feeling good 2 blouse style shirts, one pair jeans, one dress, 2 pair nice leggings, 2 pair of socks, One long skirt, one fleece, one jacket, camisoles, couple of t shirts, 3 undies that dry fast (wash every nite in sink or tub) Well you get idea. I vowed off of heavy and excessive luggage after I had to drag 2 suitcases through Paris up and down steep subway stair cases.... on and off the trains and busses to get to the hotel. It was just too stressful and I was a physical and emotional mess by the time I got where I was going..in the rain of course!!
