My new panda tattoo moments after it was done

While visiting Tai-Land (oh I mean Thailand) last week I bit the bullet and got my tattoo done at an awesome hot spot in Bangkok called Malakor Tattoo.

I had designed this panda with the Chinese symbol for EARTH in the ball which signifies that what goes around, comes around in life. We protect our precious creatures as a caring planet in in turn these animals give back such pleasure to us for generations to come. The panda protecting the planet image is something I will be proud to have on my body the rest of my life

They put saran wrap on the leg to stop the bleeding so that’s why it looks very funny here. The leg was pretty swollen here too so panda was a bit on the chunky side at the moment

Oh, nice! I'm a bit afraid to get one because I wanted to get white ink and was told skin-lightening would hurt even worse than the ones I have. So I'm happy to see this, not only because it's nice work, but because I see that I can get a perfectly pandic effect without white ink!

Hey there Cracker Lilo~~~ I almost got the white ink but then my daughter pointed out that my legs rarely see the sun anyhow and are white enough...lol! The tattoo artist agreed that the white takes a bit of extra work to get even so I opted for all black. I'm sooooooooooooooo glad I had it done!!! I was worried I'd have "tattoo'ers remorse" but not for a moment have I regretted it. I'll post my daughters scarab with the Pearl Jam band logo in it. Its centered on her back and big. It's so cool!!
