A colorful flea market outside of Capetown South Africa gave me a cornucopia of awesome photo opportunities this day!!!
These adorable kids were children of some of the vendors and were playing hide and seek amongst the batiks for sale.
I have sat on this image since our return from Africa and finally it hit me what to do with it. I kept the batiks in vivid color while pushing back the backdrop into black and white mode which created a dynamic contrast between the silhouettes and the fabrics
I usually avoid altering shots this much but what a difference it made in this case. The colors are exactly as they came off the camera however.
