Thank you so much you guys!!! I was pretty tickled that with the 400mm lens I was steady enough to fill the frame with this ellie!!! I didn't have to crop which was a nice surprise when I loaded the image on the computer. Leithwalker you know what that Africa light is like..it's magical isn't it!!! The locals couldn't quite understand why I was freaking out over the quality of the light......they kept saying "isn't the sun the same everywhere in the world".

Thank you all very much for the kind words!!! Hamilton Images....I love that contrast too. The texture really shows up on the wet part of the trunk
