INSIDE THE CITY OF HA NOI VIETNAM 2005

When we arrived in Hanoi it was the National holiday of Tet (Vietnamese New Year). The city seemed almost abandoned. Families get together like our Xmas in the U.S. and most of the stores are closed…..but Tet lasts for a number of days.

It was so relaxing to just walk around aimlessly with no traffic….as the week wore on the traffic increased and we found out fast just how crazy it can get just attempting to cross the narrow streets with all the motorbikes. You just have to close your eyes and walk….they go around you..lol!
