I took this photo at Georgetown University in DC while visiting with friends on our recent trip there. I caught this shot on the fly as we were heading down the cobblestone sidewalk to find some lunch. The mental image of this persistent “mini urban jungle” growing in the missing brick hole has stuck with me ever since so I decided it was time to create something motivational from it.
The photo also makes me think of the old saying “When one door closes another opens”
Below are a few more pix from Georgetown and our friends Lois and Richard. Thanks again for the awesome day you guys!!

I have been working nonstop on our Tai photos and got them mostly done , loaded into my website, descriptions written, published it…only to find out that I can’t get them to show up in Firefox!!!!
If you use Firefox as a browser and can’t see them please try Safari or Internet Explorer etc. I apologize for any inconvenience but I couldn’t wait to post the album. It was like having the panda party all over again working on those pix!!!
Click the photo above to access the album or CLICK HERE to view it…either way will get you there
This pendant flew off the website yesterday only seconds after I posted it but I wanted to show it to you all anyway. More fun pendants are on the way this week!!! Check in at http://graffitijewelry.com to see what is new.

THIS PENDANT WILL BE AVAILABLE LATER ON THIS WEEK!!!
Below is my slideshow without narration. I wish I had Steve videotape it for me but at least you get the idea of how it looked. Basically I covered the gist of what brought me to Chengdu in 2006 in the first place then described the adoption process and the fun this year in February.
Hello everyone!! We are back home now and reasonably rested. What a fun time we had on this trip. Kind of did a little bit of everything it seems!! I couldn’t wait to get my panda pix loaded here are a few of the over 1000 I took at the zoo!! I will put them all in an album for you to see together soon
Steve bought me a GPS for my camera so we are now able to Geotag all my images which go directly onto a Google map which you can ACCESS HERE . It’s a lot of fun to track where we were at any given time of the day.
Here I am giving my Chengdu presentation at the zoo for the Panda’s Unlimited members
Much more to come soon!! Thanks to all of you who stopped in to comment while we were gone on our trip. I truly look forward to seeing who stopped by at the end of each day
