We finally got some snow!!! Yeah, this is pretty pathetic (see video in media center below too) but the dogs think its heaven. Old Meggie was falling asleep sitting up as the snowflakes kisses her muzzle. I love this photo above. She is such a dear dear dog!!
Of course then she woke up and all heck broke loose. She was play bowing to me to chase her BELOW

And its all over the news today….The National Zoo’s Chinese treasure Tai Shan will be sent to China as per their agreement between the zoo and China. Oh how DC residents will miss that boy but with any luck, I will be in Bifengxia shortly after Tai arrives and hopefully will be able to take lots of photos and video him in his new home
PANDAS UNLIMITED (A DC based group I belong to) are adopting Tai for life if possible as a group. I am taking my jewelry sales money from 2009 which I have been saving all year to put towards this Pandas International sponsored adoption.
