SHOPPING FOR MOTHERS DAY…Farmers Market opener
Talk about an appropriate photo to celebrate Mothers Day with. As I stood outside taking pix this afternoon, I felt something hit my head…literrally a “Chicken Little….the sky is falling” episode! This is what hit my head and landed next to my feet. A new life had come into the world and Mama Robin was cleaning house so her new babies would have a clean bed to sleep in. The second weekend of May is always the opening weekend for our local Beaverton Farmers Market….known for their incredible organic produce and a very high percentage of perennial growers as well…Just ask my mom, Diana, and Mary Susan how much fun this place is.

Hi Sandra! Happy Mother’s Day! We went to a farmer’s market last weekend and had a blast. Also went to an art fair in Greenville called Artisphere…FABULOUS! I’ll post some pics on fb. i found a birds’ egg from a Brown Thrasher, it’s turquoise with brown spots…what kind of bird laid the egg that landed on your head??? hahaha.
Oh…gee whiz! Of course the egg that smacked your head was a robin’s…just as you posted. Sorry…it’s Sat and I am finally finished with all the social networking, editing, listings….you know…Anyway, have a great Sunday, Mother’s Day!
Hey Sandy…the mama Robin was trying to tell you that you are just a little CRACKED!!! LOL That is OK by me!!! At least it wasn’t bird doo…LOL The farmers Market looks stellar!!! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! By the way, Dennis has been in Minneapolis since last Sunday. He comes back tomorrow at 2 PM, then leaves on Monday for Texas for 12 days. I think we need to make a sushi run soon!!! It is a good cure for single parenthood…LOL
